What is CUET ?

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is an entrance examination conducted to provide admission to candidates into various undergraduate courses in more than 44 central universities, 44 state universities, 32 deemed universities, 134 private universities and 3 other universities across India in 2024-25.  Has been started for.

After  twelfth class a student can gave this exam.

This exam is conducted to get admission in the best colleges of India, which is conducted every year by National testing agency.  Through this exam, students can take admission in the course of their choice.  Admission to this exam is done on the basis of merit.

Mode of exam ?

According to the latest update, this exam will be conducted in hybrid mode in 2024.  According to this, it will be done in both pen and paper mode and computer base mode.This is first time .

Who is eligible for CUET?

  • Students who have passed twelfth class with minimum 50% marks. 
  • There is no age limit for appearing in this exam.
  • criteria may vary depending on the university you choose.
  • A candidate can appear for the CUET exam as many times as he wants until he/ her is selected.

Fee for appearing in CUET entrance exam :

  • Gen/obc -650 /-
  • Sc -600/-
  • St -550/-
  • Student from foreign wants to get registered in this exam -3000/-

Exam Duration :- Slot I - 9:00 am to 11:00 am

                                Slot II - 12:30 pm to 2 pm

Number of questions :-Section IA & IB- 40 (out of  50 questions to be attempted 
Section II – 40 (out of 5o questions to be attempted)
Section III – 50 (out of 60 questions to be attempted)

Total marks of CUET exam :- 800 marks

Marking Scheme :-

  • +5 for each correct answer 
  • -1 for each incorrect answer
